The Town of Toomsboro is accepting applications for Firefighters for the Toomsboro Fire Department.
Requirements: High School or GED, Certified Firemen Certification. Class F License or Higher required. Good communication and public relations skills, computer, and teclmology skills.
Job Duties: Respond to Fire/Rescue calls. Help to maintain and submit reports electronically and maintain paper files. Attend required training to maintain certification. Ensure that all
firefighting vehicles and equipment are in service and are always in high state readiness. Stay abreast of state laws, policy, and procedures to maintain a qualified Fire Department. Establish a worldng relationship with Toomsboro Mayor and City Council, Police and Sheriff Department, EMA, and the community. Maintain a clean, and safe working environment. And any other
services that are deemed necessary to maintain a productive Fire Department and a safe
community.
Hours: 24 hour rotating shifts ( 48 hours ofl)
