Police Department
Our Mission: The mission of the Police Department is to maintain social order within the prescribed ethical and constitutional 
limits while providing professional law enforcement services to the citizens we serve. Departmental personnel are devoted to enforcing the law in a fair and impartial manner, recognizing both the statutory and judicial limitations of police authority and the constitutional rights of all persons.
Fire & Rescue
Our Misson: The mission of the Fire & Rescue Department is to prevent and minimize the loss of life and property from fire, nature, and man-made emergencies. Departmental personnel strive to improve the quality of life through public education and prevention of fire. Also, it provides a fire suppression force capable of handling emergencies, which may include structural fire fighting, medical assistance, and response to hazardous materials incidents.
We are honored to serve the citizens of Toomsboro and pledge to always provide our very best service in times of emergency or at any we can be of assistance to the community and its citizens.
